Founded in 1984 by Dane Smith as a trucking company, Smith-Davis Motors has grown into a trusted name in the industry. Dane’s mother worked part-time in the early days, and his brother, Cris Smith, joined the company in 1991, helping it expand even further. The business saw significant growth from the late 1990s to the mid-2000s. In 2022, Smith-Davis Motors expanded into golf cart sales and rentals, and in 2024, added lawnmower sales to their offerings. The shop and maintenance manager, who has been with the company since 2001, plays a key role in operations. Smith-Davis Motors was proud to receive the 2022 ATA Comp Fund Safety Award, reflecting its commitment to quality and safety. Today, the company continues to serve customers with the same dedication and excellence that built its reputation.
